"Feeb of the Sea Weed"

Films: Creature from the Haunted Sea (1961)

Alias: None

Type: Unknown

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: Slightly larger than an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good

Summary: In the world of monsters, crime doesn't pay. If you tamper with a beast's home AND the law, the cosmos are pretty much bound to give you the ass-whupping you so richly deserve.

History: Somewhere in the Cuban isles, a large portion of the treasury lies at the bottom of the shore. But neighboring it is a hungry burly monster with an appetite for humans. Not that a group of gangsters care. They want the money, regardless if there's a monster or not. In fact, their leader Renzo Capetto has exploited the myth to keep others out of his plan. Trouble is, that monster actually exists...

Notable Kills: Nothing special

Final Fate: The creature responds to the infiltration of its home by viciously mauling all of the gangsters and eating them. It was last seen picking its teeth next to the treasure, waiting for the next batch of idiots to come around...

Powers/Abilities: Immune to bullets.

Weakness: None.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Despite an impressive set of talons and looking like a decrepit phantom from a distance, the creature is impossible to take seriously due to those damn googly-eyes. He looks like the Cookie Monster had a malformed child with Oscar the Grouch.

Trivia: -To make the monster, the filmmakers literally used a wetsuit, moss, pipe cleaners for claws, tennis balls for eyes, ping-pong balls for pupils, Brillo pads, and black oilcloth for a slimy effect. Even they thought the end result was hilarious.

If you give it away, the folks will laugh uncontrollably.
"I wanna hug!"
